Users don’t always provide a description of the deadfall – but will sometimes leave additional details in a trail report – so that’s worth checking.

Fall River Loop: 3 places where trees are down: 2 on westside of trail. one on eastside but that is older and may be there on purpose to jump it
Steve Larsen
Still a lot of snow especially around the middle. 2-3 downed trees. Needs a couple more weeks.
King Castle
1 20” is so rotten tree down somewhere in the middle of the descent. Definitely need to dismount to pass.
Cougar Creek
4 trees down on the first 2 miles from the east side. The largest is about 20 inches.
Lookout Mountain
4-6” down on a straight section about halfway down the descent. Looks like recent blowdown. All clear otherwise.
Independent Mine
1/8 mile before the switchback on the way up, 1.5 foot diameter.
Santiam Wagon
9 trees down- From the bottom- 5 at mile 1ish, 2 at mile 2ish, and 1 at mile 2.75. Thrree of them need chainsaws.
Frissell
Trail is destroyed at the lower creek crossings. Countless fallen trees from the winter storms in the new burn. Unridable until repaired.

Riding well. 1 medium tree down about a mile south of Lemish. In the burn near Lemish, plenty of pokey branches that need cutting back as well.

34 trees down, most are small and easy, two or 3 that are larger.

About 8 large trees down on the first half of the trail (from olallie), otherwise second half is clear

one 30" tree down Just East of River crossing (if doing loop). 2 more which are smaller near by. one 30" down on shedd camp spur.

many trees down including some really big ones near first “summit”
Charlton Lake #3593
Didn’t get very far in to link up with Waldo but trees down right from the road crossing where the fire took its toll.
Crescent Mountain (North)
Broken snag across trail about 1/3 down from top, yellow jacket nest at break. Three down at around 1/2, 1 in switchback turn below clearing
Crescent Mountain (South)
16” snag down just uphill of meadow edge

2-3 trees between the lakes and Meadows. Nothing too troublesome

Pyramid is very overgrown by meadow, couple trees and a boulder down. Gordon has several trees down, scar has big trees down but easy go around
