Trail Description

E-bikes NOT allowed on Trail 99 Waldo South

The Metolius-Windigo trail is over 100 miles long and begins in the north at the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness and runs all the way south to Windigo Pass near Crescent Lake. To minimize confusion the “Met-Win” trail — as it’s often called — is broken into distinct segments each with its own character.

This 15 mile segment is not ridden very often and may be hard to navigate.

This trail is maintained by Central Oregon Trail Alliance.

    1. Don Leet says:

I find it hilarious that someone marked this trail with no deadfall. We cleared it today and there were 85 trees down. Now we can say, no deadfall.

    2. BendTrails says:

Some if not all Closed due to cedar fire

    3. Joe Myers says:

Clear from Moore creek to twins. Thanks don Leet and crew

    4. Bruce Bradshaw says:

From the Moore Creek trailhead you head west on double track staying right at a split. There aren’t any trail markings until the double track ends. Then there’s a small horse trail sign. Tread is generally narrow and you have to hunt for it’s continuation at a couple of log ride arounds.

    5. Natalie Herse says:

Rode this from the Twins/Charlton intersection to Moore Creek. OMG my new favorite trail. And all clear of deadfall – thank you!
