Trail Description

This section of Flagline is outside the summer Elk Calving Closure. This is a continuation of the long downhill on Middle Flagline and has quite a few technical, rocky sections heading down to Swampy Lakes area. The trail can get very sandy near the bottom late in the summer.

This trail is maintained by Central Oregon Trail Alliance.

  5. There a pretty big tree down about two thirds of the way down Lower Flagline. Actually it’s two trees and some saplings that all shared the same root-ball.

  6. Evan Smith says:

    All trees cleared!

Updating to riding well since there are just two trees down. I suspect those will be cleared pretty soon here as the HCC100 will be going along here in 2 weeks.

Mostly riding well but a couple of downed trees. No unrideable snow. But there are some wet patches closer to the lakes.
