Crooked Arm (also called Broken Elbow) is named after… Yep. It’s technically still Has No Horse, and we don’t know much more than that. This short mountain biking trail is easy to miss as it starts at the summit and heads down the back side of Horse Ridge.
Get ready for a fairly gnarly, rocky decent with a couple tight switchbacks and some loose sand.
This trail is maintained by Central Oregon Trail Alliance.
Pretty sandy at the bottom of the steep portion. Riding great past (downhill/ south of) the dirt road
Ditto on the sand pit until you get to crazy horse. Fun ride, but it’s hike a bike back up unless you are way more man than I!
Top to middle is great but once past the rocky sections it’s just a full on sand Pit. Accessing the top is is not worth the effort.
