Trail Description

E-bikes NOT allowed on Mad Max Drive

Similar to a road scene in Mad Max, this old, cracked highway (also called the ODOT Chicane) heads toward the top of the ridge at an easy pace. Good trail to take with friends if you want to relax a little and chat along the way. Near the end look for the Has No Horse trail heading up the ridge on the right.

Another less common route would be to ride to the end of this road, pop across the highway, and find a trail that heads down into Dry River Canyon.

Annoying cattle gate about halfway along, might need 2 people to close depending on strength of the team!

    2. Dustin Balderach says:

Dry. Bone dry. Like asphalt dry. Good traction. Should hold up well this season.

    3. Wesdes says:

Just rode this two days ago for a climb up to holy loop. Was a more relaxing up hill compared to parkway. It did have snow in some places but was over all grippy. All in all it’s just a rode and thats it.

    4. Merlin Clay says:

Snow on the road. Snowed in where the trail leaves the road at the top.
