E-bikes NOT allowed on Rockfall
Rockfall is Mt. Bachelor’s newest and most advanced DH trail. Built underneath the Pine Marten chair, Rockfall starts out technical and steep — and then gets more technical, and even steeper.
On the way down the mountain, riders must negotiate numerous mandatory rock drops, fall-line berms and sketchy turns with lots of exposure (and, of course, sharp lava rocks on both sides of the trail).
Because of the trail’s rowdy character, Rockfall should only be ridden by expert DH riders with body armor, a full face helmet, and a mountain bike capable of handling the gnar. Rattlesnake and Last Chance are good trails to master before progressing to Rockfall.

Rockfall opened today. Thanks MTB trail crew.
I got to pre-ride the Rockfall trail at Mt. Bachelor last week — it’s a really great trail. Very technical and rocky. Can’t wait to get back up on Friday for the official opening.
